Being quiet.......

This is what my little monkeys get up too when they are being quiet……..I really should learn that they will be doing SOMETHING naughty/silly/messy when they are being quiet!! J

This is Freya having done ‘facepaints’ on Ryan with the pens while doing some colouring…..

And this is what the two of them think is how you do painting lol. It has to include some on face, hands or any other body part that takes there fancy at that moment. They did do some nice paintings that are now on my fridge though J

Spitting image??

My kids all look very similar indeed, This picture is off Bethany a few years ago when she was about 3. She looks the spitting image of what Freya looks like now! The baby pictures are really hard to tell the different between all 5 of them!! I really need to make sure we have the names on the back of ALL pictures…..

This is Freya not too long ago......

Time for the big boy bed!

Ryan keeps climbing out of his cot!! He is a little pro at it now so last week Lee has changed his bed into a ‘big boy bed’ He is so happy to be in his big bed now. We are currently trying to redecorate his bedroom before we move Kian into the room. So last week Lee started to strip the wall paper – only for the plaster to start coming down with it!! So Lee decided to give plastering a try! It turns out he is pretty good at it as the one wall now looks nice new and fresh!! I don’t think Lee now realises that I’m going to want him to re-plaster the WHOLE house J

This is Ryan snuggled in his 'big boy bed'

My little Gymnast!

Bethany has recently started Gymnastics. She LOVES it. She is always practising her handstands and cartwheels around the living room. Here she is modelling her new Leotard.

Olympic Torch.

So today Caitlin and Bethany went with school to watch the Olympic torch go through our town :) They really enjoyed the morning and think standing for hours with their friends in the rain etc was fun for them (unsure why as I would have been a bit fed up :) ) Anyway It has really made them excited for the Olympics now and they cant wait to see it when it makes it to the stadium.

Beforehand the school and other schools in the cluster have arranged for a copy of the torch to be carried around all the schools in the area. The kids all got to stand in a row and all pass it between them. Then the youngest ( Bethany's good friend Elize) and oldest of the school took it down the road and it then went on to the next school - thought it was a nice idea. My Phone decided to play up and run out of battery so unfortunately I didn't get many photos!! Just the one photo, Which you can just spot Caitlin waiting with her friends.......

The day must have been a busy one and took it out of Ryan as this is how I found him while I was making dinner - I thought he was being rather quiet :) Bless him.

Wet and horrible camping......

cartoon picture of tent in the rain

Poor Caitlin is on her first camping trip tonight (Well first since she was about 8 mths old) and its horrible and we have been having some very heavy rain showers all afternoon. She has gone with one of her good friends as it was her birthday midweek and this is her party! So there are a few girls - poor things. Im sure they will be fine and still be having lots of fun and shrieking :)

Will find out tomorrow just how wet they all got..........

Two of my cheeky little monkeys.

Today my 2 little monkeys have been full of beans! They have been full of giggles and been getting up to all sorts! I have a few pics on my phone which I wanted to upload but Google is being slow uploading (prob my phone not google) So will try and upload them to this post tomorrow when I have it all sorted (fingers crossed) x
Yeah Ive worked it out and can now add pics from my phone :) So here they are in the shops yesterday and also at swimming lessons (Caitlin and Bethanys swimming lesson while we watch)

Holidays

Hello well we have been a busy family since I last posted a update. We have been having lots of fun including 2 holidays :)

In April we went to California Cliffs Park Caravan site and we had such a good time!! We managed to get a good cheap deal on this holiday so wasn't expecting the caravan to be anything spectacular. But it was really big and didn't feel cramped - especially with all our brood. We had a 3 bed caravan but when we got there we had to have a big sort around and try and fit 2 travel cots in. The people were lovely and came and took out some beds for us so we could organise it all. Me and Lee ended up sleeping in the living area so that we could arrange the kids in the best way so we all got the most sleep :) It was a little chilly over night though in the living room but I wasn't to bad as managed to nick the second duvet but poor lee felt the cold for them few nights.

Betahny Enjoyed chilling out on my bed :)

While Caitlin and Daddy enjoyed relaxing on the sofa reading the newspaper on the other half of the sofa/bed...

On site they had lots for the kiddies to do. Ours enjoyed the park. It was very challenging for the older two who wanted to spend hours in there. The evening entertainment was also really good and Bethany loved the disco and the kids entertainment. While Caitlin just wanted to try and win things on the 2p machines.... The swimming pool was nice as well (the outdoor one was shut when we went - tooo cooollldddd) Caitlin and Bethany loved being able to show Daddy how much better they are getting at swimming. Even RYAN got in the pool!! Which was a major event for the holiday! He has hated any kind of water and screamed the whole time through every bath time for the late year +. But he did pop his little legs in - would go in any further but it was a great thing to watch him build his confidence a little. Anyway I think the swimming took it out of Kian as this is how he ended his lunch afterwards :)

We couldn't go near the seaside without a trip to the beach - the wind and cold wasn't going to stop us :) It actually wasn't to bad with a jumper on. We built sandcastles, buried Bethany in the sand, slid down the sand dunes and of course had a little paddle in the sea -very very cold.

We took a few trips into Hemsby. All the arcades and little rides can keep our lot busy for ages (and be the quickest way to empty our wallet! :) ) The kids found a nice little car racing one. Which as we are all F1 fans and the kids always have to watch they of course wanted a go.

So what harm could it cause???

Poor Bethany managed to hit a man who was standing near the middle. He went flying over the bonnet and squashed her! Lucky they were both ok as he did go flying to the floor. You can see how tight she has shut her eyes and she could see it coming. Silly man shouldn't have really still been on the track as there is signs all around but poor Bethany was a little shocked and crying but she would not get out of her car as she didn't want to lose that colour car! <3

We also went to 'The Dolphin' which Lee used to go many a times when he was a little boy and every time we go up to hemsby we have to pop in for a drink and some food. This year Caitlin enjoyed practising her Pool playing. She is really getting the hang of it. (not sure what the face on me is all about)

Such a long and picture heavy post. But we had a fantastic holiday and ill leave it now with a picture of me and my five kids - my world :)

Will do another post sometime to tell all about our other holiday.

Dancing Minnie

Bethany LOVES Minnie Mouse (as does Freya) and this week she keeps dressing up and doing her dancing around the living room!! She loves it! I am going to look into a dance class for her as she really would enjoy it and no longer wants to do football like Caitlin.Oh and the pics shows the new carpet Lee has laid! Its quiet nice and we normally only have plain so its a bit different then we are used to but I really like it.
This week I have also taken the girls swimming. Its the first time I have taken Freya as well since we went on holiday last year!! She really enjoyed it. She was a bit weary when we were out of her depth and just clung onto me but when she could touch the ground she was going mad. It was also a great time for the girls to show me some of there new skills they have learnt in their lessons. They really are coming on so well.

We have a little crawler and standing boy.

Well this is Kians new trick!! And as you can see he is VERY happy with himself. He did it yesterday and then now all day today he keeps on doing it - on the fireguard, sofa or even trying to grab his sisters and use them to get to standing. He has been crawling for a few weeks now and he speeds around the house now. He is the first of our babies to go straight to all fours crawling. The others have done the army commando style crawl for a while before picking up the all 4 crawl which is faster.

Above is a very rare pic of me!! Also Lee was reading books with the kids and Ryan took himself off and sat on his own little seat (A bit of carpet that Lee is still to fit!!) and enjoyed his book by himself. I think he looks a little cutie so thought I would add it.

Look at my very cheeky monkeys!! I have a good few pics like this as they seem to think the best way to pose is to stick there tongue out at me.

The kiddies built a 'den' in the bedroom and had to sleep in it for a few nights. They loved it and they wanted Ryan to stay in with them but they soon asked if he could go into his own room and he just kept climbing on them and ruling the 'den'.

Snow day :)

Hello well We had a very fantastic day in the snow yesterday and as promised (for a change :) ) I am here to update our day and pop on some piccys. Above is the newest member of our family, snowy (as named by Bethany) hehe.

Kian wasn't as keen on the snowman building........

Then we went sledging.

Bethany showing Ryan how its done.......

But he wanted to go it alone!! He LOVED it!!

Caitlin having her go looking like she might really want to be doing something else.......

Freya being pulled along on flat ground, but she wouldn't go down the hill! Until she got to go on mummy's lap.

This is what Caitlin was so desperate to being doing!! Having snowball fights!! She stayed out nearly all day in the snow without once moaning she was cold or wet!! Which she was very wet. Bless her she loved it. She was over the moon when some of her football team turned up so she could build ramps for the sledges to go down and have snowball fights. She also knocked for a friend and played out for a hr with him while the younger ones (and me and Lee) warmed up.....

Was a great fun day!! And I'm so glad that it was on a Sunday so that Lee was at home and could enjoy the day with us. Today was a bit slushy and was a nightmare to push the double on the school run!! Especially when it chucked it down and poor Freya hated it so cried all the way and had to sit on top of the buggy.

Well I have had some hassle trying to get this blog back running after Blogger shut it down as somebody had hacked my account :( But its all sorted now so its back up and running...........

Look at what is outside our window tonight!!!

I'm looking forward to playing out with the kids tomorrow - fingers crossed we get lots more over night.

Will try and update with what fun we get up too tomorrow.

Happy New Year!!

2012!!! How did 2011 pass sooooo quick!!!

Well we have all had a LOVELY Christmas :) The kids were so excited about Santa coming. Their little faces in the morning were great!! They have been very lucky and got lots of lovely presents. This was the first year Freya has really understood and got all excited about it. Ryan was still too little to understand before the day and all the lead up but he loved opening his presents and playing with his new toys. Kian loved playing with all the wrapping paper and trying to eat it :)
I fear its Caitlin's last Christmas when she believes in Santa. She has been asking lots of questions and has said lots of people at school have said he isn't real etc. Will have to see what she says and judge when is the right time to tell her - before she tells Bethany and Freya!

We enjoyed the family time spent around Christmas time. We went to my Mums and Phil's on Boxing day! Was a lovely day. The kids loved it and we had some yummy food as always when we go to mums.
On the Wednesday Pauline, Dave, Nick and Harry came to see us. The kids love having Harry over to play!! We had loads of Nerf bullets flying up and down the hallway!! I'm not sure who enjoyed it more though - the kids or Lee and Nick!!
Thursday we had a quiet day playing with toys till about 5pm when we went over to the Farm to see more Family. Its so nice going to see my nan and grandad. The kids love it as there is so many people to talk to and they like getting my younger cousins to play with them!!
Over all they got so many toys, books and cloths they have all been very lucky!!

At New Year we went to Pauline and Dave's and stayed the night. Little Ryan didn't want to miss the fun and ended up staying up AFTER midnight. We also woke up Caitlin and Bethany to come down and see the New Year in and watch the fireworks on the TV. They loved it! New Years day we stay for a lovely roast and the kids got to play some more.
It was also Dads birthday but he was away with Val so only got to speak on the phone. He sounded like he had a lovely time away.

We have also had Bethany's Birthday!!! Can you believe she is now FIVE!! Five years old!!! She is getting so big (and also shows how bad I am at updating this blog as she had her 3rd birthday only about 10 posts ago!!lol) She had a lovely day. Nanny Pauline came down in the afternoon and picked her up from school which was a great surprise for her. Then in the evening we had Mum, Phil, Dad and Val over and had some cake and MORE presents :)

Tomorrow is her Party she is having it at a soft play area and is very excited about it all!!

Will try and update this again soon and add some pics of how the kiddies are getting on xx
