We have a little crawler and standing boy.

Well this is Kians new trick!! And as you can see he is VERY happy with himself. He did it yesterday and then now all day today he keeps on doing it - on the fireguard, sofa or even trying to grab his sisters and use them to get to standing. He has been crawling for a few weeks now and he speeds around the house now. He is the first of our babies to go straight to all fours crawling. The others have done the army commando style crawl for a while before picking up the all 4 crawl which is faster.  

 Above is a very rare pic of me!! Also Lee was reading books with the kids and Ryan took himself off and sat on his own little seat (A bit of carpet that Lee is still to fit!!) and enjoyed his book by himself. I think he looks a little cutie so thought I would add it.

 Look at my very cheeky monkeys!! I have a good few pics like this as they seem to think the best way to pose is to stick there tongue out at me.

The kiddies built a 'den' in the bedroom and had to sleep in it for a few nights. They loved it and they wanted Ryan to stay in with them but they soon asked if he could go into his own room and he just kept climbing on them and ruling the 'den'.

Snow day :)

Hello well We had a very fantastic day in the snow yesterday and as promised (for a change :) ) I am here to update our day and pop on some piccys. Above is the newest member of our family, snowy (as named by Bethany) hehe.

This is what Caitlin was so desperate to being doing!! Having snowball fights!! She stayed out nearly all day in the snow without once moaning she was cold or wet!! Which she was very wet. Bless her she loved it. She was over the moon when some of her football team turned up so she could build ramps for the sledges to go down and have snowball fights. She also knocked for a friend and played out for a hr with him while the younger ones (and me and Lee) warmed up.....

Was a great fun day!! And I'm so glad that it was on a Sunday so that Lee was at home and could enjoy the day with us. Today was a bit slushy and was a nightmare to push the double on the school run!! Especially when it chucked it down and poor Freya hated it so cried all the way and had to sit on top of the buggy.

Well I have had some hassle trying to get this blog back running after Blogger shut it down as somebody had hacked my account :( But its all sorted now so its back up and running...........

2012!!! How did 2011 pass sooooo quick!!!

Well we have all had a LOVELY Christmas :) The kids were so excited about Santa coming. Their little faces in the morning were great!! They have been very lucky and got lots of lovely presents. This was the first year Freya has really understood and got all excited about it. Ryan was still too little to understand before the day and all the lead up but he loved opening his presents and playing with his new toys. Kian loved playing with all the wrapping paper and trying to eat it :)
I fear its Caitlin's last Christmas when she believes in Santa. She has been asking lots of questions and has said lots of people at school have said he isn't real etc. Will have to see what she says and judge when is the right time to tell her - before she tells Bethany and Freya!

We enjoyed the family time spent around Christmas time. We went to my Mums and Phil's on Boxing day! Was a lovely day. The kids loved it and we had some yummy food as always when we go to mums.
On the Wednesday Pauline, Dave, Nick and Harry came to see us. The kids love having Harry over to play!! We had loads of Nerf bullets flying up and down the hallway!! I'm not sure who enjoyed it more though - the kids or Lee and Nick!!
Thursday we had a quiet day playing with toys till about 5pm when we went over to the Farm to see more Family. Its so nice going to see my nan and grandad. The kids love it as there is so many people to talk to and they like getting my younger cousins to play with them!!
Over all they got so many toys, books and cloths they have all been very lucky!! 

At New Year we went to Pauline and Dave's and stayed the night. Little Ryan didn't want to miss the fun and ended up staying up AFTER midnight. We also woke up Caitlin and Bethany to come down and see the New Year in and watch the fireworks on the TV. They loved it! New Years day we stay for a lovely roast and the kids got to play some more.
It was also Dads birthday but he was away with Val so only got to speak on the phone. He sounded like he had a lovely time away.

We have also had Bethany's Birthday!!! Can you believe she is now FIVE!! Five years old!!! She is getting so big (and also shows how bad I am at updating this blog as she had her 3rd birthday only about 10 posts ago!!lol) She had a lovely day. Nanny Pauline came down in the afternoon and picked her up from school which was a great surprise for her. Then in the evening we had Mum, Phil, Dad and Val over and had some cake and MORE presents :)

Tomorrow is her Party she is having it at a soft play area and is very excited about it all!!

Our BIG girl Bethany starts big school....

Well we now have two school girls! I cant believe our little Bethany has now started big school!!! She seems to love it. She looks a little startled in this pic :)

I think she loves that now she is like her big sister. They go for half a day for a while which I think is good for her and is letting her settle in well before they get completly tired out from full days.
They do have a school trip soon which will be a full day and she is soooo excited to be going on a big coach like Caitlin does.









The girls have been away last night and today with there nanny and grandad. They went to Drayton manor they had a great time! But were a little frightened of a couple of the rides. They really enjoyed seeing the animals and some of the smaller rides but there is one ride which they keep going on about how scary it was!! Bless them.
Me Lee and the boys have had a quiet time - and it really seemed quiet without our girls around! Last night we went for a aroma which was very yummy and we both felt very full after as its all you can eat chinesse. Today we went shopping to try and get me some new clothes.....but didnt come home with any!! I have got 'zumba' on the Wii which is ment to be good. I have zero coordination so Im guessing Lee had a good laugh when I tried it out earlier!!!

We have also recently brought a new camera - its this one . So we have lots of lovely new photos of the kids!! So thought I would pop some up on here. Just because I love piccies of my kiddies.

Well looks like thats all I can add tonight as my computer has decided its had enough!! Wanted to pop some more pics on so will try and get some more of the bigger girls on tomorrow. We are having a nice quiet day in the house tomorrow as I think the girls need it after there busy busy day today.....plus Caitlin and Lee want to watch the Grand Prix (and shhh dont tell them but so do I :) )

A day of a few 1st's

Well today has been a quiet in the house day! The kids were tired so we just stayed in and played all day :)

Freya decided that today she didn't want a nappy on and wanted to run around naked all afternoon!! Bless her. So I went with it and told her where the potty was etc. She kept running and sitting on the potty and then running away again but one time this afternoon she did a wee!! She was soooo happy with herself lol. So maybe its the start of the potty :) Which is great - but will be a sad day when it comes to getting rid of all the pretty pink nappies.

Kian had his first bath in the big bath with his sisters tonight!! HE loved it and was looking at Bethany and Freya all the time! So much better then the screaming I still get every time I try and give Ryan a bath!!

Caitlin and Lee did go to football training this evening. Which Caitlin really enjoyed especially as she got the trophy for the week as she was playing well.

Plan for tomorrow is the park and a picnic so lets hope the weather holds out......

Larger Family Life.

I love having my big family! I love that my house is always full of happiness as well as all the noise! I have always thought I would love kids since I was a little girl and thought that I would like to have a few children. Lee is one of 2 kids and he always thought that's what he would like so said when I was pregnant with no2 that he was happy to stop there - but as soon as Bethany was born we soon both realised that we wanted more children! We soon started ttc again and fell pregnant very quickly - But unfortunately it ended in another miscarriage. Ive been pregnant 8 times and have been unlucky to have 3 miscarriages. They really do change your whole outlook on children and how lucky you are to be able to have them.
Most people that I know think we are mad and why do we have so many kids so close together - because we are blessed and very lucky to have them! So when I read about people who also have big families and how there thoughts and feelings on big families are the same as mine I get very excited :). Last night when I was reading some other peoples blogs I came across this Blog Which I spent ages reading. Really lovely to have the same views and to see a happy LARGE family. They have just released a new book which looks a fab read. I had a look on amazon and read up about the book and it looks a really good read! Tania is giving away one copy of their book and I would love to be able to have a read and look into their life's.
